A 3,5t Canter kindly donated by Moore & Stone (Building & Carpentry) Ltd in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. Previous life was as a scaffolding lorry for another local firm and when M&S took it on it had 112k on the clock. On the morning of departure it was showing 120,455 and hopefully at the end of the trip it will be reading more like 130k. Many thanks to Clive at Anglian Vehicle Services in Bury St Edmunds for the sterling efforts he and his team made to get the truck in shape for its epic journey. From lumpy beginnings she's now singing like a bird (albeit a bird that flies at 55mph)! read more »
This is our second vehicle, kindly donated just last week by a local secondary school. It has only had the one owner since registration and has spent it's life transporting local school children to events and activities. I think it must be looking forward to the drive and seeing a bit more of the world almost as much as we are......
So we have a subaru forester, apparently the most reliable car in the world, i hope so. It's a beast with climate control, a panoramic sunroom LPG gas tank so runs on either LPG or petrol, tax exempt in mongolia and registerd as an ambulance support vehicle here in good old Scotland.
