Always wanted to drive somewhere with your mates? If you want to go and we are not already running a rally somewhere then get in touch. Want to only drive in milk floats, cars with papier mache wheels, or take a caravan off road? Then design your own! Throw around the ideas on our forums, and if you can find 1/2 a person who is as mad, we're on to a winner. All we ask is that your rally remains within the rules for "What makes a charity rally".
What we give you
We can give you the tools to create a charity rally all of your own, we will help you with the administration and we will help promote it for you. What's the charge? Nothing, just in return you've got to help us persuade lots of your mates, their mates and people you randomly meet on the street to join you, and you must raise lots of money for charity!
How it works
- All of the organisers are volunteers. That means YOU!
- Go Help oversees the event to keep everything on an even keel.
- All entry fees by the teams are paid to Go Help from which any expenses for organising the event can be reimbursed.
- In addition to the payments system, you get to use our content management system, online team management system, email lists, forums and our name.
- At the end of each event, every team in the event will get a copy of the accounts to see what your entry fees were spent on and what other income was received, such as corporate sponsorship.
- Any surplus funds after the basic administration costs are either used towards organising future Go Help events or given to the charity projects supported on the rally. The teams get to choose what money goes where.
