Pakistan Rally

Ever fancied driving across the Middle East to Pakistan? Well, you should. This route is one of the most exciting you can take, through some of the most beautiful regions in the world to an incredible country.

The road will cross out of Europe by way of Bulgaria and Turkey. Across Turkey's Anatolian plain, the one time cradle of civilization. You'll pass the mountain where Noah ended up after the Biblical flood before crossing into Iran. Once in Iran you won't want to leave. But you'll have to push on. From Iran's desert south it's a brief border crossing into the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, immense mountains, milk tea and cricket in Kashmir. And forget the rubbish you've read in the western press, Pakistan isn't full of terrorists...

What visas do I need?

Quite a few. Depending on the route you take, this could vary, but Iran and Pakistan are pretty hard to avoid. Getting both can be a tricky affair but we'll be helping out teams with some good contacts we've got, or the "know how" on how to pass a bribe in Urdu and Farsi.

When can I sign up?

The Pakistan Rally is a complex rally to organise and we're keen to hear from anyone who can help out with the logistics. Due to the amount of work still to be completed, sign-up for the Pakistan Rally will be opening sometime in 2008 for a winter 2008 departure. Make sure you are on the mailing list to be the first to grab a place.
