Mongolia

The Mongolians love the rally and Davaasambuu (the ambassador) is a big supporter (he's even been along to some of our events!). Your visa will be no hassle. You do not need an invite. Again check their website for updated information. It costs around £30 and although they state that this is the 1-week service they will often have it for you next day for the same price.

Your 30 days will start from the date you enter the country. If you get really hooked, you can extend for another month in UB, and then a further extension with a 10 day 'exit visa'.

If you're from the US, you get 3 months! Nice.

Go to the visas section of the Mongolian Embassy website where there are full details and the word document application form to download (Don’t worry about the odd characters in the Word Document - it just means you don't have Mongolian font support on your computer)

Mongolian Travel Company

On the mongolian visa application it asks for the details of your 'travel company' - what should we put here? Make up a company from UB or put down the rally details?

Thanks...

I’d give the embassy a

I'd give the embassy a call to confirm, but probably just say something like "independent travel (Mongolia Charity Rally)".

validity?

on the visa applcation form box no 19 says validity? Its in the passport section, what do i put?

Also, how do they know what type of visa you're applying for? I assume i need the single entry and exit visa for £40. Can i just send 1 cheque for the visa and the postal fee?

Finally at the bottom of the form by the signiture bit it says place?

I gave them a call 2 minutes

I gave them a call 2 minutes ago and the nice bloke at the other end of the phone said 'just leave that question'.
