A new Tajik Embassy has opened in London (mid-May 2008) They can do a Tourist visa for £40 and a GBAO permit for £40 - both take 5 working days but they have a fast-track service which is double price. At the time of writing they were only accepting cash payments as they do not have a bank account set up yet. They do not require a visa for your next country but they do want a written itinerary in your covering letter.  I was quoted slightly different prices - £50 (1 week visa), £60 (2 Week visa) & £50 GBAO permit. 3-4 working days. They still have no bank account so can only accept cash.
