Possible to add PayPal button on team page?

Hi guys, hoping someone computer-savvy will know the answer to this one.

PayPal allows you to generate code that will apparently produce a "Donate" button, which you can add to a webpage. I have the code, but am a bit lost as to what to do with it. Any ideas?

Any 'orphans' looking for team to join?

Hi Guys

Anyone team-less want to join Team Haerenga?

At the moment Team Haerenga is Phill and I. Check out our team page: http://mongolia.charityrallies.org/haerrenga

We are keen to get another person on board. Hoping to get that done soon, so that we know what sort of car to buy, depending on whether there will be two or three of us.

If you are keen, drop us a line. Our contact details are on our team page.

Ilya

Charities online

After a bit of wrangling with various sites and whatnot, we've got our charities linked in to Just Giving.

In addition to the SWORDE Teppa charity supported by the rally as a whole, Ollie and I have selected a charity each that we will be rasing money for.

Ollie's charity is Cancer Research UK, and mine (Alex's) is The Railway Children

I won't go into detail about the charities' work, please follow the links and take a look. If you wish to make a donation straight away, please follow these links:

Insurance 2010

I have had a look through the forums from last year and people reccommended either HIC or Down Under for their car insurance. Both have declined insuring our team! Any other suggestions?

Many thanks

We got one!

I tried to find a suitable Ghostbusters clip, but to no avail...

So imagine, if you will, a lady in '80s glasses whacking a bell and screaming.... "we got onnnnneeeeee!!!!"

Yup, my mass email of everyone in my Hotmail address book (updated c.2005) has resulted in our first sponsorship!

- I donated myself a full fry up for writing this test page.  On a serious note though, we are in the process of arranging sponsorship for the event which can be in any format you would be so generous as to offer it to us in - sponsorship money, discounted kit, free stuff, food...

Please get in touch at luke.firmin@gmail.com in the meantime if you have any sponsorship or other requests.

Our Route: VERY rough plan

First contact

Inspired and terrified in equal measure by this evening's conference call for the rally participants (and the website announcing it's only 125 days to go), I have finally taken some affirmative action on the fund-raising front.

I've emailed the background to what we're doing to everyone in my hotmail address book - which hasn't been updated since around 2006 and if the number of undeliverable messages I got back are anything to go by, contains approximately 55% non-existent email addresses. Still, you never know, and if anyone sees fit to bung our Justgiving site a couple of quid as a result then it'll all have been worth it.  read more »
